Eco-Friendly Wool Tops/Roving from Nepal

In buying this product, you are helping sustain the livelihood of the many talented Nepalese people who spin, card, dye, fibers and yarn from New Zealand, Tibet, and Nepal.

This product is eco-friendly. No harsh chemicals are used. Swiss dye is normally used in the dyeing process.

This wool top has been dyed by hand. The fineness of the fiber (21 micron) makes it ideally suited for wet and dry felting and being so fine, it is also wearable against the skin. Has long staple so is well suited for spinning as well.

Ideal for all felting crafts, especially where you need softness with durability.

I have included some close up shots so you can see how fine these fibers are.

I try to keep my prices as low as possible so that I can get more supplies which helps you, me, and the Nepalese women who supply these.

Note: Because of the hand-dye nature of these wool tops, small colour variations may occur. If you need a bigger quantity for your project, please look out for the bulk packs (usually with a "B" appended to the end of the Product Code - as in E0001B) or feel free to contact ClearlyChosen for assistance.

There may be very minor specks of wool or other color in the tops. This is to be expected coming as it does, hand-spun, carded, and fleeced from Nepal. They can be easily picked out if you spot any.
